INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPDATING HSSLC MARKS

1. Open an Internet browser.
2. Go to https://admission.pucollege.edu.in/#/application-status
3. Click ‘APPLICATION STATUS’ located at the top right side of the page.
4. Enter your registered mobile phone number used by you at the time of filling application form.
5. Click ‘Request OTP’, then enter the OTP sent to you through SMS.
6. Enter your class 12 marks after reading the following:
    a) In Boards where the Full mark is 500, you may enter the total marks you received
    b) In Boards where the Full mark is 600 or above, select your 5 best subjects and enter the total of those five best subject marks.
    c) Carefully check to make sure you enter the correct marks. Wrong entry of marks will be seen as fraud and rejected at the time of checking document proofs.
    d) Click ‘UPDATE MARK’ to finalize entry of your class 12 marks.

7. Students must bring their original marsheet if selected for admission.

ADMISSION NOTICE, 2024

Pachhunga University College is inviting applications for admission into Undergraduate programmes (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.B.A) fot the academic session 2024. Interested candidates may apply through online mode only from 8^th – 16^th April 10.00 A.M.

Important Points
1. Admission through PUCET will be merit based (PUCET Score 70% and HSSLC marks 30%).
2. PUCET will be based on Higher Secondary standard, which will be conducted during 23rd – 26th April, 2024 in MCQ format using OMR sheet. For language subjects (English & Mizo) and Philosophy it will be MCQ and Short Answers.
3. A candidate will be allowed to appear for a maximum of two subjects only. A sum of Rs.50.00 per subject and Rs.200.00 for Prospectus must be paid at the time of filling up entrance exam form.

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Students seeking admission in the first semester at Pachhunga University College are allowed to apply for two different Major subjects.
2. Students awaiting results must update their total marks obtained in HSSLC as soon as their results are declared. This can be done by signing into the admission portal with OTP sent to their registered phone number.
3. The candidate must arrive at least 1 hour before the scheduled time of their admission test without fail.
4. The candidates must bring their HSSLC Board Examination Admit Card on the day of the entrance test. Without the HSSLC Admit Card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
5. An OMR sheet will be used for the entrance test. Students should bring Black ball point pen. Students are, therefore, advised to learn how to use the OMR sheet through instruction videos on YouTube and other online resources.
6. Selected list will be declared on the College website.
7. Appearing in English subject is not compulsory for all, only students seeking admission to ENGLISH MAJOR have to attempt the subject.
8. Out of two applicable subject preferences, one may be left blank if applicants opt for only one subject.
9. A hard copy of the Prospectus will be given on the day of the entrance test at the College.
10. Applicants may choose to change from Science and Commerce streams to Arts stream. They should appear in their preferred subjects.
11. Other boards (CBSE/ICE etc) may enter the centre number or school no if registration number is not available.
12. Students waiting for calss 12 result may enter 2024 as year of passing in the prescribed form.

6. Any person without aadhaar number may come to the college and approach the administration.
