Geotechnical Laboratory

                                            Department of Geology

Geotechnical laboratory was utilized for research and practical purposes for the students and research scholar since, 2019. Different equipment are available in the laboratory to determine the geo-mechanical properties of rocks and soil.

Broadband Seismic Station

Broadband Seismic Station at Pachhunga University College was established in collaboration with  CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam. The station was inaugurated by Honourable Zoramthanga Chief Minister of Mizoram, on 11th November, 2021 .

Centre of Earthquake Research and Monitoring was established on 30-10-2021. Earthquakes within Mizoram and its adjoining regions has been recorded at the station.
