Teachers Day celebration cum blood donation

Dt 5th September 2011, Pachhunga University College: A record breaking One day Blood Donation Camp was organised in the college campus on September 5,2011 to commemorate the 50th Teachers' Day Celebration. Staff from the Blood Banks of two local hospitals, viz., Prebyterian Hospital, Durtlang and Civil Hospital came to the college to collect the donated blood. A Total of 425 units of blood was donated on this day breaking the College previous record of 333 units in a day during Golden Jubilee Celebration 2008. Eye Donation Campaign was also held at College Auditorium. A total of 75 eye donors are registered. This is also the highest number in one day. This event is jointly organized by Red Ribbon Club and NSS PUC of Pachhunga University College.
