Advertisement for JRF Position in DST-SERB Project

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Physics, Pachhunga University College, Aizawl, Mizoram, under (DST) - SERB funded Research Project, titled “Synthesis and characterization of lead free perovskite films for photovoltaic applications”.

Junior Research Fellow – One (01) post

Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Physics

Emoluments: The amount of JRF fellowship will be as per SERB norms and it is approximately Rs. 25,000/- per month for candidates with NET and it will be less for candidates without NET.

CV should include details of academic grades starting from X standard onwards with details of year of passing, university or college, etc. and also work experience and nature of work if applicable. Complete details of NET/GATE such as year of passing, discipline and marks should be mentioned in the CV. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

General terms and Conditions:

Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to a maximum of 3 years solely based on performance. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the completion of the project or till satisfactory progress of the candidate.

The PI reserves the right to shortlist suitable candidates. Only the shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail informing date of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
