Mister and Miss PUC 2021 Online Contest
An online event, first of its kind was held by the college on 14th and 15th May through Zoom platform in search of Mister and Miss PUC to represent the college and be the face of the college for the academic year 2021-2022. It has been an annual tradition to organize such a platform in search of bright, beautiful, intellectual students to be the face of the College to represent the motto ‘Learning and Service’ at its best. Beauty and Physique are not the only focus for this contest and the focus is pulled more for the search of intellects who are capable and able to highlight the beauty and comprehensiveness of the college. All the candidates for this year have been selected based on strict criteria such as their GPA, attendance, communication skills and their overall social skills.
Before the finale event, grooming session was conducted for all top 10 contestants for both Mister and Miss Contestants. A 1 hour grooming session comprising of social skills, life skills and soft skills were emphasized and highlighted. For the mister grooming session, Mr. K. Lalramnghaka who had won gold medals in titles such as Men’s Physique, Powerlifting and Arm Wrestling was invited where an interactive session on the subjects of health and fitness was also included. For the miss grooming session, Ms. Rody H Vanlalhriatpuii, Miss Mizoram 2017 was invited where contestants were taught like skills, the importance of mental health as well as body positivity and self-love.
The new Mister and Miss PUC were crowned during the finale event held on 14th May for the Mister PUC Contest and on 15th May for the Miss PUC Contest. Following are the titles and subtitle winners:

The contest comprised of best of three photos sent in by the contestants which served as criteria for the subtitles given. In the finale, a question and answer round was conducted for all top 10 contestants for both Mister and Miss Contest. Judges were invited from both the faculty and two special invitees, for the Mister Contest, Mr VL Zothansanga, Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Reborn Gym, Khatla was the guest judge and Mr. Henry Varte, gospel singer and entrepreneur was invited as the guest judge for the Miss PUC Contest. History was created and overall, the events were quite a success.
