 POSTGRADUATE & Ph.D. ADMISSION NOTICE

           Applications are invited for admission to the following Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes at Pachhunga University College for the Academic session 2024-2025.

           Applications are open through the College website (www.pucollege.edu.in). Last dates of applications are 15^th July 2024 for PG and 14^th August 2024 for PhD. PUCET-PG will be conducted on 19^th July 2024 (Friday) 11: a.m. The date of the interview for Ph.D. admission will be notified later.

For admission to PG (CLICK here to apply)

1. Each PG Department will conduct its own PUCET-PG. The test will carry a weightage of 50% and the marks obtained by the applicant at the qualifying examination (UG) will carry 50% weightage. Merit List will be made on the basis of the total of the two (PUCET-PG & UG marks).
2. For admission through CUET, only the score obtained by the applicant in the CUET will be considered for preparing the merit list.
3. PUCET-PG will be based on BA and BSc standards in MCQ format. For Philosophy and Mizo Departments, there will be a Descriptive format in addition to MCQ.
4. An application fee of ₹400/- for general students and ₹200/- for ST/SC/OBC students should be paid at the time of application.

For admission to Ph.D. (Click here to apply)

1. NET will be regarded as the Entrance Test in line with the Public Notice of UGC No.F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/2024(NET)/140648 of 27^th March 2024. No separate test will be conducted where the NET score will have a weightage of 70% and interviews (which will carry 30% weightage) will be conducted by the respective departments.
2. JRF-qualified candidates will be admitted into PhD programme subject to the availability of seats.
3. An application fee of ₹ 500/- for General students and ₹ 300/- for ST/SC/OBC students should be paid at the time of application.
