Online Lecture Programme and Faculty Development Programme
In pursuance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Pachhunga University College and Rayburn Autonomous College, Lamka, Churachandpur, Manipur, an Online Zoom based Lecture Programme and Faculty Development Programme co-hosted by the IQAC of the two colleges was organized on Dt. 19.07.2024 (Friday), 8:00 p.m. The programme was chaired by Dr. H.C. Lalchhuanawma, Coordinator, IQAC, Pachhunga University College. Rev. Dr. Khen P. Tombing, Principal of the Rayburn Autonomous College gave a welcome address. There were two lectures – firstly, on Intellectual Property Rights by Dr. Vanlalhruaii Ralte, Associate Professor, Dept. of Botany, Pachhunga University College and secondly, ‘Professional Development and Career Advancement’ by Prof. Lalhriatzuala, Dept. of Physics, Pachhunga University College. There was fruitful interactions and deliberations. Prof H. Lalthanzara mentioned that’ PUC is looking forward to have more research collaborations between the two colleges especially in arts and science departments.’ Earlier, some faculty members from Rayburn College have given short talks on different topics at PUC and the possibility of continuing research by the in-service faculty of Rayburn College in PUC was also discussed. The programme was closed with the end-note given by Dr. Lamkhanthang Neihsial, Coordinator, IQAC, Rayburn Autonomous College.
The MoU between the two colleges was signed on the 15th February, 2023 to have academic cooperation, free exchange of ideas and student-teacher based programmes which will be valid for three years from the date of signing.
