MASTER PROGRAM & Ph.D. ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications are invited for admission to the following Postgraduate programmes at Pachhunga University College for the Academic session 2026-2027.

PUCET (for Mizo and Philosophy): 21st July, 2026
PUCET Result : 23rd July, 2026
Counselling and Selection Result (for all Departments): 24th July, 2026
Admission : 24th July, 2026 to 3rd August, 2026
For admission to Master Program-
Admission is through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency for the current year.
For Mizo and Philosophy, applicant without CUET can appear for PUC Entrance Test (PUCET), which carries 50% weightage and the other 50% will be the final undergraduate mark.
Counselling will be conducted for final selection.
In sciences, there will be no separate PUCET. CUET or undergraduate marks will be considered for eligibility for counselling.
An application fee of ₹400/- for general students and ₹200/- for ST/SC/OBC students should be paid at the time of application. Fee should be deposited (by any UPI, net banking or at cash counter) to:

For admission to Ph.D.
Securing at least 55% of the total marks in master's degree from a UGC recognised university.
NET will be regarded as the Entrance Test in line with the Public Notice of UGC No.F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/2024(NET)/140648 of 27th March 2024. No separate test will be conducted where the NET score will have a weightage of 70% and interviews (which will carry 30% weightage) will be conducted by the respective departments.
An application fee of ₹500/- for General students and ₹300/- for ST/SC/OBC students should be paid at the time of application.
