Research Methodology Workshop Conducted at PUC
HIGHER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION MINISTER INVITED AS CHIEF GUEST
Dr. Vanlalthlana, Minister, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Mizoram graced the Felicitation function of the Two Day National Level Research Methodology Workshop at Pachhunga University College on 18th January, 2024 (Thursday).
This workshop was organised between 17-18 January 2024 and its main aim was to enhance the participants in the field of research. The inauguration was held on 17th January 2024 (Wednesday) where Prof. Vanlalchhawna, Finance Officer, MZU was the Chief Guest.
The Valedictory session was chaired by Dr. HC Lalchhuanawma, IQAC Coordinator, PUC. Prof. H. Lalthanzara, Principal, PUC delivered a short speech welcoming the Minister and talked about the main aims of the workshop. He felicitated the Chief Guest and congratulated him on being elected as an MLA and for being appointed as a Cabinet Minister.
The Chief Guest Dr. Vanlalthlana delivered a speech wherein he talked about how he would use PUC and its best practices as an example in the various activities under his department in the government. He stressed on the importance of utilising research for the development of the state and his vision to use research in making developments in the government. He extended his wishes to PUC to be the forerunner in the field of education.
During this workshop, Prof. D. P Singh, School of Research Methodology, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai delivered a series of lectures on different aspects and techniques of research. The other resource persons Prof. Lalnuntluanga, Controller of Examinations, MZU, Prof. HT Lalremsanga, Dept. of Zoology, MZU and Prof. Lalhriatzuala, Dept. of Physics, PUC presented various scopes of research and methods of conducting research.
