College faculty bids farewell to the College Vice Principal Dr C Lalrawna

The college fraternity bids farewell to Dr. C Lalrawna, Vice Principal of the College & Head Department of Botany who will retire on supernauation on 31st December 2013 The Pachhunga University College Teachers Association (PUCTA) bids farewell to him on the last working day of the faculties i.e. 13th December 2013. Dr. C Lalrawna will retire on the 31st December 2013 after 40 years of service to the college. The Principal on hi farewell speech mention the importance of his service to the college and that his role will be very hard to fulfill. His role as a guide to all the faculties, as an administrator,  as head of the examination department and as a leading man in the academics will always be appreciated in the college. Professor JV Hluna on behalf of the faculty spoke about his experience with him as a childhood friend, as a friend and as a colleague. He describes him as a complete gentleman, God fearing and a wonderful colleague. Dr. HS Thapa, Associate Professor , Department of Botary mention the role of Dr C Lalrawna as a pioneer for Science Educaation in the whole Mizoram. The Vice Principal was also showered with gifts from the Examination Committee, Departments of Economics, Zoology, Sociology, Chemistry, History, Chemistry, Psychology and Environmental Science.  (FOR MORE PHOTOS CLICK) Dr. C Lalrawna, M.Sc.,PhD (Botany)is the son of Mr. C.Zulawma come from Phullen village, Aizawl district of Mizoram. He joined the college in 1973 as demonstrator in Science. He was appointed as a Lecturer in 26th February 1974. Educational Qualifications: 1.Till Class- viii @ phullen 2.Class- x (matric) @Govt. He have 3 children (2 daughter & 1 son) and 2 grandchildrens. He now resides in his residence at Aizawl venglai with his wife and son.
