NEP Sensitization Programme
UGC & NEP 2020 Implementing Committee, Pachhunga University College conducted NEP Sensitization programme for faculty members of Pachhunga University College on 5th April, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the college Golden Jubilee Hall. The programme was chaired by the college principal, Prof. H. Lalthanzara. Prof. Lalnilawma, Nodal Officer, NEP Cell, MZU was the resource person.
The chairman gave opening remarks on the need to have NEP Sensitization Programme and other relevant aspects. Then he invited Prof. Lalnilawma to deliver his talk. The resource person explained the main features of NEP 2020 New Curriculum and Credit Framework. He also discussed various aspects of the new framework covering programme structure, entry and exit options, duration for award of UG Certificate, UG Diploma and Degrees, etc. The presentation was followed by interaction with the audiences in which various issues and doubts were raised.
In addition, some of the members gave suggestions for efficient implementation of NEP 2020, which the resource person noted and intend to convey to the university authority. The resource person responded and clarified the issues raised in the interaction, after which the meeting was concluded.
