The Special Lecture on Improvement of Administrative Process and Quality Service Delivery Mechanism was organised by the Department of Public Administration, Pachhunga University College and the Information & Communication Technology Department, Government of Mizoram on 24th October 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Seminar Hall. The speaker for the lecture was Dr. Lalthlamuana Chief Informatics Officer & Joint Secretary, Information & Communication Technology Department, Government of Mizoram. An amount of Rs. 10000 was funded by the Information & Communication Technology Department, Government of Mizoram for the special lecture.
The programme was chaired by Dr. T. Sadashivam who gave a welcome address and a brief introduction of the speaker.
Attendees
There were 103 attendees including all the faculty of the Department of Public Administration and a faculty from the Department of Political Science. Dr. Lalthlamuana was accompanied by Mr. T. C. Lalkhuma, MSS, Deputy Director (Adiministration), ICT and Mr. Lalnunpuia Kawlni, Asst. Informatics Officer, ICT.
Dr. Lalthlamuana’s lecture on ‘Improvement of Administrative Process and Quality Service Delivery Mechanism’ was profound and insightful. He emphasised on efficient delivery of services by administration focussing on the needs of its citizens. His sincerity and dedication to the topic had the participants engaged in his lecture. His lecture ended at 12:10 p.m. 30 minutes was allotted for discussion which allowed the speaker to thoroughly clarify queries and doubts raised by the participants.

Future prospects
The special lecture was of much success and the Department wishes to organise such programmes in future.
