Special Talk on “Career in Psychology”
The Department of Psychology, Pachhunga University College, in collaboration with EMO MATRIX – An Emotion and Behavior Science Company, ISO Certified Company, conducted an hour long Special talk on “Career in Psychology” on 24th June 2021. Welcome speech was given by the HOD, Prof Rinpari Ralte and concluding remark by Dr. Saichampuii Sailo.
The Speaker, Mr Suveen Kumar gave a speech on career options of Psychology in the field of business, healthcare, educational institute etc. He elaborated on the key components of having a successful career – Formal Education, Practical Skills/Technical Skills and inculcating those skills in service. He emphasized on recognizing and building strengths whilst working on weaknesses. The speaker discussed on the questions and queries raised by the students.
From feedback, most of the students are interested in taking Courses offered by the EMO MATRIX. The students are keen to learn more about their possible career paths and explore their options.
