National Service Scheme (NSS) Pachhunga University College (PUC) Unit volunteers donated 552 blood units to Aizawl Civil Hospital blood bank on August 30, 2018 (Thursday). NSS PUC unit organised voluntary blood donation camp at the college campus to commemorate our College Diamond Jubilee anniversary. The total number of blood donors is 552 NSS volunteers comprising 401 males and 151 females.  At the end to the blood donation camp Dr. Zoramdinthara, Programme Officer, NSS PUC Unit presided the concluding function. In this function Ms. Hmingthansangi, V Sem B.A (Maths) Miss PUC 2018 declared the number of male blood donors and Mr. Zosanglura, III Sem B.Sc (Maths) declared the number of female blood donors. Dr. Tawnenga, Principal concluded the function by offering thanks giving prayer. 

As per the report given by Dr. Zoramdinthara NSS PUC Unit donated 333 blood units on our College Golden Jubilee year of 2008 and the largest number of blood donated record from our college was 424 blood units. He said, "Diamond Jubilee Blood Donation camp exceeds the past two records in the college, it is an important milestone for the College. I thankful to all the blood donors and volunteers. This is one of the fulfillments of our college motto Learning and Service." Pachhunga University NSS Units is the record holder of blood donors in institutional category in Mizoram. Aizawl Civil Hospital Blood bank team came and collected the donated bloods in the college campus.
